Sports Coaches Merna Yalda and Carmin Yunadam reach the 7News Young Achiever Awards NSW/ACT

Congratulations to Merna Yalda and Carmin Yunadam who were both nominated in this years 7News Young Achiever Awards NSW/ACT which recognises, encourages and celebrates the achievements of young people under age 29 throughout Australia.  

Carmin was nominated in the Freemasons  of NSW/ACT Community Service Award for her contributions to the community through her sports coaching, volunteering and art programs. She is an amazing sports coach and was recognised as a semi-finalist which is a fantastic achievement. 

Merna was nominated for the First National Real Estate Leadership Award as our Sports Development Officer and we are delighted she has been announced as a Finalist. Merna delivers sports programs for children and adults with disability. She also acts as a mentor and supporter for our coaches and candidates on our Path to Potential employment program which supports young people from refugee backgrounds enter work in the sport and leisure industry. She is a conscientious and encouraging leader and we wish her all the best for the finals which will be announced on Friday, 2 June in a gala dinner event at the Fullerton Hotel. 

We wish Merna the best of luck and congratulate our two amazing team members on their achievements.
