Smoking Cessation Sessions
Bankstown Senior College expressed they had a significant issue with students smoking. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD) is the third leading cause of death worldwide, and it’s preventable.
As such, Collective Leisure was engaged to design and deliver smoking cessation sessions to every school year. We delivered 5 sessions to a total of 489 students. Including 121 new arrival refugees, with the help of 2 great interpreters translating into Farsi and Arabic.

Client Testimonial
Collective Leisure delivered a powerful Smoking Awareness multimedia presentation to all cohorts of our College. The success in their project was due to the engaging resources and data which were tailored accurately to suit our CALD student backgrounds.
They confidently and competently addressed the students with practical examples and advice which drew the attention and interest of our larger groups of mature learners.
The presenters, David and Jen ran surveys and interviews with the students prior to the presentations to ensure they knew their backgrounds and needs. Their handout was highly informative and most useful. David and Jen's flexibility and professional manner made preparation and collaboration so smooth and easy. We look forward to more sessions in the immediate future.
