ZEST AWARDS 2021

The Zest Awards showcases the outstanding work of the Community Sector across the greater Western Sydney region led by the Western Sydney Community Forum (WSCF).

WSCF is the Greater Western Sydney peak organisation, working for communities to deliver better health, inclusion, and social justice outcomes.

Collective Leisure has partnered with Special Olympics Australia and Auburn Diversity Services Accessible Diversity Services Initiative Limited, to create an employment program for young people from refugee backgrounds to deliver the NSW Inclusive Sports Program to children with intellectual disability and autism.

Collective Leisure CEO David Burns stated, “The initiative is a great example of true inclusion providing training and employment for marginalised communities and delivering inclusive sports to children with disability.”

The project continues to grow with Collective Leisure delivering 3 consecutive school terms to date, supporting Special Olympics Australia reach 200 schools through the Inclusive Sports Program in NSW.
